Research Help

Whether it is helping you find that perfect source for your paper, showing you where to start, or perfecting your research the librarians are available to you during Circulation Hours for any research and reference assistance. Walk-ins and appointments welcome!

Citation Help

Style guides and handouts are available in the library. While librarians can assist you with general citation concerns, it is encouraged that students contact the Writing Center.

Reader Advisory

Want to find that new book you'll love? Not sure where to start in your journey of becoming a lifelong reader? Librarians are available to help you pick out that perfect book.

Course Reserves

Some faculty make their course textbook available for check out through the library. Course reserves are available for checkout during the Circulation Desk's hours.

Chromebook and mifi Checkout

Students who are in need of a Chromebook or MiFi Hotspot may check one out for the semester from STAC. The Chromebooks and Hotspots are due at the end of the semester. For more information contact STAC by email (stac@rbc.edu) or phone (804.862.6401).

Study Space

There are two available study rooms for students working in groups. Students may come to the Circulation Desk to check out the key for a one-hour period. Study room availability is on a walk-in basis.

Printing

Black and white printing is available to students, faculty, and community patrons. Students receive 70 free copies at the beginning of every semester. Students may refill their printing balance through Banner. Copies are 10 cents a page.

Checkout

Students can check out books, DVDs, board games, and magazines for recreational or educational use.
