Frequently Asked Questions

Something I want to access says I am not authorized to view the material, what do I do?

Always make sure you Sign in in the top right corner of the catalog before you do any searching. You sign in with your RBC Statesmen credentials (the same credentials you use for Canvas or your email).

I want to save the things I've found, what URL do I use?

Can I access library resources on my phone?

If your cell phone is capable of opening and running web pages then yes! You may not be able to download PDFs depending on your phone type but you can always send them to your DropBox, Google Drive, or send Permalinks to your email.

I'm looking for something specific and the library doesn't have it, what do I do now?

You may want to try the Internet Archive, which has millions of resources available digitally (books, magazines, articles, newspapers, films, and more). If you still cannot find anything, contact library@rbc.edu to talk with a librarian. We might be able to help you find the material or one similar.
