Library Support: COVID-19

Students can connect with the RBC Library online through LibChat online chat (text chat only), connect with a librarian via Zoom, or connect with a librarian via telephone.  

• To chat with a librarian, click on the LibChat widget in the lower right corner of your screen. 
• To connect with a librarian via Zoom, please submit a reference request here. 
• To connect with a librarian over the telephone, call us at 804.862.6226.

All reference appointments for both online and on-campus students will be delivered via Zoom or telephone.

Library materials are still available for checkout; however, checkout procedures will function differently in order to meet social distancing recommendations.  Please visit our Request & Retrieve page to learn how to request materials. 

Students needing to return materials are encouraged to use the book drop in the Library or the library drop box located in the parking lot across from Parsons Cafe. 

Most library resources and services are available remotely using your RBC username and password.  

• The A-Z list of databases provides access to many online journals, ebooks, videos, and other scholarly material. 
• Many ebooks, databases, and articles can also be found using our RBC Library Catalog.
• The Research Guides contain resources organized by subject area.
