Today's new book spotlight shines on Joe Abercrombie's trilogy entitled The First Law. The trilogy is primarily fantasy and is one of the first trilogy of books penned by the author. The first book in the series is called The Blade Itself. According to GoodReads, Abercrombie rendered The Blade Itself in 2002 while working as a television producer and movie reviser. He finished composing two years later and was picked up by and released to the public by Gollancz in the mid-2000s.1 Essentially, The Blade Itself is grisly, morbid, ghastly, and lurid. An abundance of occurrences transpire within the world present in the novel that are thoroughly described in detail and warmongering pugnacity. People in the world of the publication are also immensely described and provide the reader with plenty of information that allows for one to form invisible bonds with the characters.2
