You have access to Word, PowerPoint, Calendar, and more through RBC’s subscription to Office 365. All these tools can be found by logging into Statesmen Mail and click the menu button in the upper-left corner of the screen.
Canvas will be used for attendance, grades (“What if” grade prediction), announcements, posting lecture slides, online quizzes/homework, and submitting assignments.
Select account → notifications to update your notification preferences for timely updates. Additionally Canvas assignment calendar can sync with iPhone and Android devices.
A Canvas app is available for iPhone and Androids. This is a great way to receive push notifications regarding grades and announcements. However due to compatibility issues please use the desktop version of Canvas for completing and submitting assignments.
If you need support with the Canvas platform, you can use the “Help” button on the left. Canvas support Hotline 1-866-437-5613 is available 24hrs a day.
